Pediatric Anesthesiology

Anesthesiology is a branch of medicine dealing with the preparation of the patient for surgery, anesthesia during the procedure and ensuring the maintenance of proper condition of the patient during surgery. The domain of anesthesia is also intensive care, resuscitation, as well as the treatment of pain.

Patients visit anesthesiologist’s office usually because of chronic pain, which can not be effectively alleviated by removing its organic origin or such a treatment is not possible (eg. Pain that accompanies the incurable cancer disease).
